Tech guys, anyone have any advice on this mix of parts for a 331 stroker hopefully running 8 pounds of boost?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tem=7929461070&category=33620&sspagename=WDVW

Also, anyone ever heard of Dyno-flo or know of them?

Thanks.

I've never heard of Dyno Flow but the parts in that engine all are good name parts. It sounds like a good price for an assembled 331 short block with forged rods and pistons. This might turn my 306 project into a 331 project, damn you!! haha

nah, i wouldnt get it. for the simple fact of the matter is that i would rather call a place that specilizes in engines and have one made. or a local machine shop.

Actually, Dyno-flo is pretty well known shop here in town (I live in Vegas) They do all in-house machining and assembly of blocks and such. I actually bought all my 331 engine parts from them... You wont beat his prices, atleast not localy, he (Scot, the owner) is damn cheap on his prices

What's wrong with the valve reliefs that are already there?

That looks like a very competitive price, but I agree with the others: go local. You'll probably spend $250 or so to ship it...and then the first time you have any issues, you can spend it again to ship it back to them. They probably won't let you take it to a local shop and then pay the bill for you. Plus you'll learn a hell of a lot if you go see a local builder and talk things through with him. JMO
