How hard is it to install hood pins on 04 Cobra and who makes a nice set?

Hey guys, I want to put hood pins on my new 04 Cobra. Who makes a nice set and is there any tips that will make it easier for me with the install? Also, do you guys know if the hood latch will have to be removed, or can I still use it along with the pins? Thanks!

I know I had a decent stainless set a year or two ago on my '85 that I got from FRPP. They had a locking ring and lanyards and held up pretty well to the conditions (what little conditions we get here in FL). Just make sure whatever set you get is stainless or they'll rust in no time.

If possible I would try and install them and retain the stock hood latch unless you have an alarm with a hood pin (even then I would still try). Without the stock latch everything under hood is only a couple pulls away from whoever wants some parts. Good luck.
