I think the red interior gives it a much more sporty look if thats what your going for. I personally stuck with dark charcoal, but it does look nice.

Here's my two cents.
If you like it, you like it. If you don't you don't. You have to choose for yourself.

Don't get caught up in the new "fad." Can you see yourself living with that color for a few years after the new mustang has lost its styling edge?

Get an interior color that you like and that you will be happy with for a while.

(Sorry if i offended someone)

There are plenty of interior pics on the internet. You should view them by yourself and make your own decision.

I don't want you stuck with an interior you're not proud of.

Definitely!

I have seen this car with and without the red interior. The red interior puts it over the edge. It is awesome. The car without the red interior is ok, with awesome! Of course I owned a '65 with the red interior and that is partly why I love this 05 so much. In my mind, with out the red interior this car does not stand out enough.

I will second that, I have a redfire with the dark charcoal and I like it. The dealer here has a redfire GT with the red interior and I stopped the other day to check it out. Quite a contrast between the red seats and the dark charcoal, didn't look right to me, the back seats and door panel inserts looked the worst. Just one persons opinion though.

I love it, not too much red, even with red exterior. WIth the charcoal other stuff, it looks really nice. The red sides and mats really add to it

I have black with the ICAP and love it. Red has never been a car color I would have ordered in the past.

It is the only reason I bought the stang. I was not too impressed with the interior at first, but with the Red Interior, and the Upgrade package, I likey

I wanted one badly from all the pics I saw, but after sitting in one last week, I think I'll settle for the straight graphite. It does look cool, but it just didn't turn me on enough to get it. I think I'd get tired of it too quickly..

Coolest combos IMO:

1. Red interior/Mineral grey w silver stripes (Thats what I ordered)
2. Black interior/legend green w silver stripes (New era GT 500 )

red/red? Little to much red IMO! Just my $ 0.02.

I think this interion is the new "porno red" that I desperately tried to avoid when I bought my first 5.0. I think it will be an embarrassment in a few years. But hey, just one person's opinion.

Saw a black one with the red interior this week. I thought it looked great. I like the red so much that it is creating a problem for me. I plan to order a white GT after the first of the year. The red would look really good with the white......buuuuttt...I plan to put blue Shelby stripes on the car. I can't decide if the red, white, and blue would look good together or not. What do you think?
I will not give up the stripes; but I might have to pass on the red interior.
