I'm looking for shocks on ebay and have come across some used bilsteins and koni's that look interesting.....(leaning towards koni)

under normal use what king of miles will one get from a high quality shock?

You do not get the lifetime warranty unless you are the
first person that bought the Bilstein struts and shocks don't
know about the Koni's though.
I would be skeptical about buying used struts or shocks
because how knows how long they were on the last person's
car? Unless you know how is selling them? They could have
200K miles on them lol.
I would buy some brand new Bilsteins instead but,
it's your car.

I agree with him! I wouldn't buy used shocks/struts. Buy them new and they have a lifetime warranty. I am sure if you have a DB9 you can afford new ones.

Do not put used parts on your Mustang, especially suspension and drivetrain components

it's not a matter of afford but more of the fact that I'm thrifty and enjoy getting good deals.....I don't care if I have paris hilton money some day....I'm still going to go to walmart and search ebay for deals.... I, as everyone else does, have a budget and this mustang is not very high on the list.....

It was a mistake to put up a pic of my car and bike on my sig....

Thanks for your guys replys......you bring up some good points and I think I will buy some new koni reds...... I've read on here they ride pretty stiff...which is what I'm looking for, hoping they'll be a good match for my vogtland springs!

Then do it right the first time and do not do it if you cannot afford to do it right. Use new parts and you will avoid doing it and spending for it twice.
