how long you need to change a thermostat?

In my mustang I have taken up to half an hour, and you?

About the same, mostly because it is in an ocward location and angle, don't know how to spell okword

Awkward.

I'd say around half an hour sounds about right. You have to drain some antifreeze, change the t-stat, refill the antifreeze, bring the car up to operating temperature, and burp the cooling system.

wait untill you do one like on my 03 cobra.. it takes more time to get under car than to replace it...its in the lower hose and bolts are in your face...soo easy but still half hour with beer in hand

took me 40mins on my gt,and 15mins on my svo i had,that car was cake to work on

Depends on how much I've been drinking. Anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

thermo is easy, what about the heater core? these things just keep on going out on me. i've stopped replacing them, but it takes me about 15 minutes!!
