I consistantly average 22 mpg no matter how I drive the car. My lowest has been 21 mpg and highest is 24 mpg. I have always owned trucks prior and have never been out of the teens with them. So I am loving the mileage with my Mustang. Prior to my Predator tune, my car ran better and saw the best mileage with regular 87.

Mine fluctuates alot, probably because of the tiny exhaust leak that I can't find anywhere. I average about 12-13 city, and, if I'm lucky, 20 highway. Of course, I do recall having about 60 miles into a tank once, and it was already almost half gone. I've got my stock gears, too.

All stock except for MAC catback, Ive only had the car for a month but depending on my right foot Id say around 19 to 20 city/highway.

Bone stock (just got the car 11 days ago) I got 22.7 with a mix of city/hwy driving (and kinda baby'ing it, laid into it about 4-5 times or so).

I used 87 first, but I could here some pinging, so I used 89 the last time I filled up and haven't heard it anymore.

2003 GT 5spd

Got 21mpg consistantly with the 3.27s

Got 20mpg on my first tank with 4.10s. And that included many many spirted romps on the throttle.

I run 93 octane. Pinged at 87 in stock trim and had a flat spot with 89.

I fill up when the trip odo is around 260 to 270 and usually it's 14.x gallons, so that puts me at around 18mpg. 2004 GT vert 5spd stick no mods. I don't beat on it, but I like to go fast on the interstate on-ramps. This is mostly 15 mile trips back and forth to work (half stop and go, half interstate).

Good thread timing! I just did a mileage test on the highway for the first time (I knew it was pretty good, but had no idea it would be this good!!) This was with 91 octane:

I got 30.63mpg!!!! 7.02 gallons and 215 miles.. hell, that was even with 15 street driven miles. I now feel like it's an economy car on the highway...city driving is a different story though

When I first got the car (used 2 years ago) I was getting 17.6 MPG.

I knew having a stang would be weak on MPG but there just had to be something wrong. So after checking things here and there I find the previous owner had chipped the car with some unknown brand home made looking ghetto chip.

Edit: The car also has 3.73 gears in it.

So I removed the chip, and purchased a Predator.

Ever since I have been getting 19.4 MPG

This is just the average, and I do a lot of local driving. On vacations and weekend with long trips it'll get 20-23 MPG no problem.
