How many spot welds are there on a cowl?

I betcha that I drilled over 100 holes tonight trying to get the cowl off, what a pita.

I heard there's as much as 140.

I did the 68 last year, I think it was more like 15,000 , I'm pretty sure the guy that runs teh spot welder studders

When we did my '65 cowl, there were well over 100. However, it will have been worth drilling out all those welds the first time it rains and I don't have a swimming pool on the floor of my car.

There were 4 welds right around one of the export brace bolt holes, I couldn't believe it...Probably about 12 within the span of 8 inches...
