I know you guys get these posts all the time but I need an honest answer. There is a guy I know that wants my car, but we havn't really discussed a price yet and I wanted your guys opinions as well.

The car is a '90 GT with about 117,000 miles, but that is wrong because of the gears in the rear end. It has power windows, locks, A/C (needs to be charged), power lumbar, red interior, and white face gauges.

The only mods the car has is 3.73 gears, cleaned up stock heads, Hurst shifter, and a Flowmaster H-pipe, into 3-chamber Flows w/dumps. Now for the new parts. The motor has been gone through and all the gaskets have been replaced. The heads have got new valves and seals. The has a brand new T-5, Ford Motorsports King Cobra clutch (4 months old), UPR quadrant, and firewall adjuster. It also has a new adjustable clutch cable but I don't remember the brand (the UPR one snapped). New speedo cable, new 23 tooth speedo gear. 4 month old Yokohama tires (245/50/16), brakes were done about 15,000 miles ago. New water pump, new two core radiator, Mark VIII fan, 3G alt w/new wiring, new headlight housings and bulbs, K&N cone filter, new TPS sensor, new heater core (fun job!), new battery, new ball joints, new swaybar end links, new windshield, and all new shocks and struts (7 months old). Thats all I can think of right now.

The car has no rust anywhere and has never been driven in the winter. It has some scratches and dents, but when washed and waxed it still looks really good.

I have some parts that are included with the car and they are Kenny Brown sub frame connectors, all new weather stripping, drivers side door lock actuator, both door hinge rebuild kits, and all the clips for the door panels. I am also including my $350 Pioneer CD player and the car is all wired for a stereo system, but I already sold the subs and amp.

Thanks for you opinions, I really hate to sell this car but I'm only 19 and I can't afford two cars and two snowmobiles. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't bought this last sled. Anyways thanks a lot and please don't flame me.

You might want to check www.ebaymotors.com and www.autotrader.com and see what cars similar to yours are going for. It would be a good reference to pricing your vehicle out.

well a perfect 5.0 with realy low miles and mods goes for 4,500-6,500 where im at (northern ca). and a bad comdition 5.0 with high miles (110,000-200,000) and some mods goes for between $2,000-$3,500.

I think $4,000 is realsonable to ask for your stang
