I was thinking about lowering my car but I think my ground clearence would be very small. I measured from my headers to the ground and I think it was around 5 inches. What is too low for the street?

I have 4.75 clearance to my oil pan and 4.5 inches or so to the collectors on my long tubes.....and I have not had any problems. I do run a stiff suspensiong though with the 620s and 5 leafs

You can just see the pipes in this pic..and the oil pan...well you can pretty much see that puppy from any angle

Also about 4.5 from the collectors to the ground. The speedbumps they have at my school are ridiculous, I have to go over almost all of them at a pretty steep angle. Most speedbumps/driveways aren't a problem with the stiffer suspension though, that made all the difference.

I can't roll a soda can under it. There are some parking lots I don't go into. It's not a daily driver so it's cool with me. I grew up with low cars. You can see the grinders on the TCP sub-frames.

I was gonna ask opentracker the same question...

As for my clearance- it ain't much. Maybe 4" to the long tubes... and even with 620s and 5 leafs I bottom out in some places... Oh the sacrifices we make for performance.

I have around 2 1/2 inches between the collectors and the ground (Hooker Super Comps plus a real stiff suspension keep them out of trouble most of the time). Not a driver, so I don't mind either...
