its kind of off subject but why would the tko make your hp read lower? Gear ratios dont change hp so I was curious?

i dont know really dude. thats what i heard. i dont like to make excuses though o i just take it for what it is. All i heard was something about hp loss throug the tko. maybe the internals are heavier, i dont know. would be nice for someone to jump in and clarify

You hit it right on the head. The bigger/stronger internals do eat up a bit more power.

heavier parts for the engine to turn causes extra drag and results in less horsepower at the wheels.

went today but unfortunately im not done. just my luck that chip that my tuner uses got f...ed up. so the car was cutting out at 4900 rpms. the tuner is getting a replacement under warranty so ill go back in a week or so. i did however get 365hp at 4900 and 396 pounds of torque at 4500 rpms. at 7 psi. ill probably see 10psi if we go to 6k rpms next trip. frustrating when you cant get this **** done all at ones but oh well. and yes obviously my setup doesnt have as much potential than i would have liked. i dont think 6k rpms is gonna reward me with much more hp anyhow. i guess ill just save up for a stroker engine

Don't be suprised if you are in the mid 400 range. I ran 440 rwhp with gt-40 iron heads (original L302 casts) tubular upper, 3 cam, long tubes, and an A-Trim at 9lbs of boost. I switched to Box Stock twisted wedge's and ran the same numbers with the same blower.

Be patient...you are well on your way...
