Sorry for the repeat question I'm sure, but I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for exactly. I saw that a 65mm TB is supposed to support 400hp (which seemed a little steep), but no guesstimate number for the 60mm. Thank you for your info.

Its not about being able to support the h/p... Its more so, where the stock t/b starts to become a MAJOR restriction.. This hardly happens on bolt on or even N/A motors.
Theres guys running the stock t/b with great sucess on 10-11 second cars With power adders. Im sure they would pick up a couple h/p with a larger one, but nothing worth noting about, when making large power numbers..

If you really feel the need to buy one, i woudlnt go over 65mm.. no need to, unless your running a really wild combo.. 65mm is perfect!

I don't want to but one, thats why I asked. Hehe, I don't even own a Mustang yet. Yet. Just doing some preliminary research. My current short list includes MM Full Length SFC'c, Cobra Brakes, after market shifter (probably Tri-Ax), Forte's or UPR clutch quadrant, FMS 3.55 gears, and good filters/fluids. Nothing even engine related. I just wanted to know if it was worth giving up some throttle response for a good bump in HP, but doesn't look like it. Sweet, that'll pay for all that extra gas I'll be using when I get rid of the Brick.
