What have peoples times decreased by with the gear swap to 4.10's!! I was guesstamating .5 seconds for and auto!

During Acceleration Some one stated that the mpg should not decrease much if at all but when cruising at high speeds around 2-4 mpg. I am definitely thinking about getting the 3.73's now because of the highway miles I run. I need to get in a stang with either one of the gears!! but I would like to know what is the difference in the 1/4 mile from stock to 3.73's and stock to 4.10's

I don't think you'll get 100% answer on that. Mainly because it varies sooo much from car to car and driver to driver.

I am an automatic driver and still recommend the 4.10s. The RPM difference between 3.73s and 4.10 is negligable. If it were a debate between 3.73 and 4.30s...I could understand.

Everyone in the Modular Depot is talking about 4.10's or 4.30's for a N/A car! and Not even mentioning the 3.73's for them??

How Much time do 4.10's take off the 1/4 mile with an auto I would really like to know, and also what other mods has everyone with an auto done to thier drivetrain with the installation of 4.10's?
