well i have black cloth interior and i found this wrecked 95 that has pretty clean black leathers seats except the drivers side a a rip about 8 inches long down the side of the seat, how much would it cost to get that fixed, hopefully the junkyard would sell em to me cheap, thanks, -Jeff

well from what I have been told the leather has the foam attached to the bottom of the leather so it gets $$$ to fix. However, I have a rip in my drivers seat and the foam is not attached in any way to the bottom of the leather in that section (the second little section from the back on the seat not the back). I am going to try and have a leather guy redo this section as I only need the leather (the foam is ok and there). Now I dont know why this is on mine, maybe its due to the fact its one of the first 94s built and they changed the way it was done later.

If its too much I may just buy one of the new black racing seats from summit and replace the pass seat later with one.

Ouch. Before I'd spend that much to recover stock GT seats, I'd be shopping for some used 03 Cobra seats or maybe some Recaro Speeds.

Yes recovers are just retarded expensive. Thats my opinion on seat repair as well, if you can not find someone to fix it buy a nice race seat.
