how rare?

hi , i was wondering how rare a 1968 mustang is with the hood with the turning signals in it is? is it even rare? any input is fine. thanks stangnet.

btw here is the ##'s off the car

Lots of '67-'68's came with them, but they are neat. My fastback had them, but when I put all the Shelby fiberglass on, I couldn't use them so I stripped all the turn signal stuff off of the otherwise junk hood , including the wiring and got around $200 for it on ebay.

btw it has factory air, power steering , and manual drum brakes with a c4 automatic, 289 ci

It's not common, but it's not rare. My droptop has 'em - original equipment was same as yours, minus the air conditioning.

I disagree. Very common. MY old '68 had 'em. I've never seen a stock '68 that didn't have 'em.

Yeah, I think I've seen more that have the deluxe hood than that don't.

Now that I think of it, the only '67-'68 I can remember without a signal hood is my buddies ratty '67 convert. It's an A-code, four speed car that he's going to re-do "someday". Sound familiar?

I agree... I have seen more with them than without. Mine doesn't have them as a matter of fact.
