how the heck do u take out the computer??!

i removed the dash and really dont want to remove the black vent thingy down there.. so how else can i grab this computer out?

Take the passenger side kick panel off. It is right there under some insulation. A few bolts, remove the wiring harness, and its out.

Edit: I think what you are looking at is the factory amplifier? Behind the radio.

ok i got it.. now the question is.. i pulled the harness so far to where its stuck at the firewall.. it should fit through that hold right??!! if not how do u get it out??!! thanks very much

the harness is pulled out from the engine bay. its connected all over under the hood, you will do nothing by trying to pull it through the firewall but maybe screw it up.

thats what am im talkin about lol.. im pullin through the engine bay.. but the fat connecter that connects to the computer is gettin stuck on the hole thats there.. get it?!

It will go through, you may need a helper to guide it, though.

ah ok. naturally its going to wanna come through vertically, which will cause it to get stuck.

reach up with your arm and bend it horizontally and push it into the hole to start it. does that make sense? sometimes its hard to type crap from a computer

then pull from the engine bay.
