Ok, i am having trouble with the car. I need to know how to bypass the switch to see if it is the problem. Car will start when selinoid is crossed, so the starter and what not is good.
When im under the dash, i push the pedal in, but it wont make contact with the neutral safety switch. i think that this is the problem as to why its not starting. How can i bypass it temporaly just to see if its the problem?
There are 4 total wires going into these harness clips---2 pink and 2 black. do i just splice them to the matching colors??
thanks guys

You won't have to splice anything nate. The clutch safety switch has 2 connectors that plug into it (black and white) Just unplug them from the switch and stick a fuse in each connector it will fit right in. No need to cut anything.

yep, just a regular fuse. I have 89 Gt wiring in my 83 so I'm not totally sure if it's the same setup as yours. My car still is just a gutted shell so I can take some pics of the connectors I'm talking about tomorrow. I tried doing the same thing on my car but I still have no luck getting it to start.
