how to change rod bearings

ok after i get the oil pan off how do i change the rod bearings. what other damage do i need to look for.

grab a haynes or chiltons manual. they are pretty good at explaining that type of stuff. you can pick them up for like 15 at most auto parts stores.

.................If this question is serious you shouldn't be changing the bearings or messing with any other part of the engine because one small mess up and you'll just end up rebuilding again.
