That's low. You should never adjust the throttle body stop. You need to adjust the TPS on the throttle body. Try to put the TB stop back where it was. Then adjust the tps by loosening the two screws and turning it clockwise until it reaches higher than 0.98 but less than 1.0 volts.

Put my tb blade where it was , and played with tps but cannot get anywhere higher then 82 volts. What should I do ? I bought this tps off ebay ( No name Brand) for $ 21.00
Should I go buy brand name or stock ? Checkerauto sales Standard Motor Products Throttle Position for $ 50.00

I would try to adjust the TPS this way. You don't need to mess with the TB stops. I don't think your that far off on the voltage. My Haynes manual states the voltage at idle should read between .50 to 1.00 volts and at full throttle 4.0 to 5.0 volts. Just try to get it as close to 1.0 volts as you can and call it good. The TPS you bought is fine. My Haynes manual also says that the TPS is non adjustable. There usually is a little play in them. Your TPS does fall into the right voltage range. I beleive it's ok. Pearl02.

Is this the reason why you started this post? The MAF can be tricky to clean. Those thin wires can easily be damage. Some people say to use a q-tip to clean the wires off good. I've done it this way before and I thought I was gonna break those wires. Let us know if you have any more problems. Pearl02
