How to fix ground effects?

Does anyone know how to fix a tear or a gouge in a 93 gt ground effect or bumper cover ?

can't you use some fiberglass like stuff and then fill it in with a plastic type of bondo? Same problem on my old GT, fixed real easy.

Yep fiberglass repair kit will do it. just practice mixing it and applying it on something else first to get a feel for it if it is your first time using it.

so fiberglass over it then smooth it with bondo for holes/scrapes in ground effects?

be sure to sand down the service prior fiberglass for a smoother surface, then sand after bondo ( 2 coats should be enough depending on the size)

i had a 3 inch tear in my front fender extension on my GT. i used this black bumper repair kit... 2 step epoxy and resin type deal, it's flexible and STRONG. i sanded it down, primed it, painted, just like new. and its not expensive either $7 tops.

i have an idea ,

rip all the ground effects off your car and convert it to an lx......much better
