So for sometime the drivers side power seat won't move fore or aft w out the assistance of using you're feet to push ya back. I have the seats out and the tracks off. Anyone know how to remedy this problem?

Either the grease on the tracks is all gummed up, or the track motor is dying. I used white lithium grease on my seat track, and ran the track back and forth until it moved smoothly.

Plug the track in without the seat on it. You'll have to remove the switch from the seat first, however. But that will let you run the track back and forth without any weight and make sure all parts of the track run smoothly.

Man... Got the seats back from the shop and I think the switch is now messed up. It doesn't wanna go up and down anymore. When I first plugged it in it worked and then it was kinda intermittent, and now nuttin. Before it was in the shop it would go up and down w ease every time. I think I figured out why it won't slide. The gear or whatever isn't catching on the side closest to the door. The other side spin th "all-thread rod", but the other side isn't spinning. I had to push the button and pull and spin the rod by hand to get the seat where it was in a good position for driving when I put it back in. So now I dunno what, maybe roll the dice on an eBay used one that they claim works. The wrecking yards near me don't have any mustangs and I don't really feel like driving all over God's green earth sesrching and hoping to find a 20 yr old rack that works. I'm not sold on going to a manual rack yet either.
