I seriously can't tell if this is a joke site or if they truly, seriously believe this kooky thing is legit. Looks like a friggin' kitchen mixer without the egg-beaters attached to it. And you KNOW there's a lot of goofy folks out there that would be more than willing to stick this thing onto their face and stare at it with dreams of perfect vision to follow...

Not having glasses would be nice, especially when it comes to doing things like crawling around under the car and whatnot, but I'm still not even sold on normal Lasik surgery. I know people who've blown thousands on it and STILL need glasses. Glasses are an inconvenience, but the idea of making myself go blind through an elective surgery scares the hell out of me. :nonono:

yup you need to cut open your eyeball..

"LASIK: This surgery is more complicated. The surgeon first cuts a flap in the cornea with a very sharp blade or laser, and then lifts it and uses a computer-guided laser to remove calculated amounts of tissue from the inside layers of the cornea. Afterwards, the flap is put back and the eye heals more quickly than with PRK."

It's really not as hard as it seems. I had a really hard time with contacts for about a month and then it just started working. Now i wear them for a week or so at a time and take them out overnight, and then throw'em back in. It's like i don't even know they're in until they get dry, then just a few eye drops and it's all good.

I cant wait to do it, but then again my eyes are so bad, I can touch them any time and it doesnt hurt (still hurts when s**t falls in them though). I have been waiting to dump the glasses for years (had contacts, they ruined my eyes even more and I cant wear them anymore)!

Same here but I struggled for a while getting them in for a few months. Then it just clicked. I wear the daily ones now, where you just throw them out. The ones where you keep and reuse bother my eyes after about a week, and the ones where you wear 30 days at a time day and night, my eyes weren't made for em lol.
