Umm its actually quite painless and if you want it done right don't go to a retard. The only reason people need glasses after it is done is they went with one of the 300 bucks an eye discount billboard places. My dad had lasik 2 years ago, performed by one of the leading opthamologists(SP?) at Emory and he has no complications and can now see perfectly, when he was -6.25 and -6.5. He also paid upwards of 2k per eye though.
