Im working on tearing the engine and tranny out and I need to move the car. The battery is out and most of the underhood wiring has been removed.

Crazy how all these shift lever threads popped up at one time.... There's two other recent threads floating around about this too.

At least I got mine fixed ! I was able to move the car anyways. Just unhooked the brake interlock that keeps it from shifting without pressing the brake

Thanks guys. My old GT was a 5 speed. So this auto thing is new to me. Haha.

It's like a bicycle cable thing under the shifter
