I could do it on my 98 gt but i cant find the seat realeases on my 03. Where are they at? Oh and how hard is it to remove the passenger side seat? Would it be worth removing to race? Im making a run to the track next weekend and i shooting for an all time new best with my 4.10s, drag radials, 31 splines and my new eaton so i wanna shed some pounds!

Its much easier than a 98. Take a flat scredriver use it to press a button right under the middle of each seat. Just press the button and pull up on the seat, done! and the passenger seat is four bolts and a wiring harness.

The buttons are reecessed about 3/4". Run your finger between the bottom of the seat and the carpet, and you should be able to feel the brackets and buttons. The buttons push straight back to release the lower cushion.

Nope....just 2 nuts on the front of the pass seat, and 2 bolts on the back. use a deep socket 15mm on both.

If you're going this Friday, I'll hopefully be there.

Look for a 2001 GT with some MT Drags on v6 rims...

Ohh yea, and maybe some spray.

Isn't there a wire harness for the air pump for lumbar support?

1998 Mustang GT rear seat removal !!!

ok this is not a hard job at all, mine is a convert but it does not matter their both the same...

start with bottom seat 1st... get a medium to large flat blade screw driver, slide it along bottom of seat where it meets the carpet / from the inside wall slide till you hit something in which is about 12 inches from the interior wall, here you need to place the screw driver and pry up and down and it will be lose on that side, repeat on the other side, push seat belts thru seat cut outs and remove, now for top part of seat, look at bottom of each side lower corners and you will find 10mm bolt on each side, remove those two and lift seat straight up and out.... that easy

reverse to install

Somebody has way too much facking time on their hands.

Seriously, I would have never expected that Modular2v would have such a hard time removing a seat.
