how to use a fox distributer?on 95

no ,the kit is the same.
but the 95 eec controls the dwell for the spark

the fox tfi does it on the 92

so the pih leaves you with a weak spark needing an a9l or the such.

so..if the tfi could be used someow...there would be no need for an extra ignition box, which pih reccomends you get an ignition box,but fail to say why

Danny, I posted this in another thread, but if you want more dwell get the Performance Distributor's Dynamod ($70). I run the MSD 6AL, the Performance Distributor's Screamin' Demon coil, the Performance Distributors Dynamod, AFM 8mm wires and have no weak spark problems. However, my gut tells me that if a manufacturer recommends somthing like an ignition box you might want to follow the instruction to ensure the PIH works as advertised.

Why do you want to go through the pain to install an A9L computer in your car? What are you hoping to gain by it?

He probably wants an EEC that isn't as finicky (or as fast as Grady would point out) as ours and he doens't want to get a tune or use a tweecer. If you want to mod the car but not get into tuninig the A9L can be the way to go. I've seen a lot of guys on here who said it solved their driveability problems.

I do have a tweecer.
And Im getting good w/it too.

The motor Im putting in my car came with the 24lb cobra kit and eec aftermarket style.
And ran the car beautifully.

IM going from aode to 5spd

My 95 eec Is not going to be happy with a 11.5 to 1 compression motor
with a xe282hr cam ,verry modifed motor.
Even if I use a j4j1 I dont think its going to run anywhere close to how it did w/the 92eec.dont get me wrong tho...I will try the j4j1 b4 I do use the pih.
And if its good,I will sell the pih and eec I got them at a real good price.

And
Its for the simplicity,Im still going to use the tweecer.
But on an easier eec to tune.If it comes to that.

The thing is...IF IM using a fox eec,why cant I use a fox distributer?given I ave anything else fox style that I may I need.??

The recomandation to use an aftermarket ignition is because they didnt want to tell you to go out and buy an old fox dizzy and tfi and have to wire tings together, its suppose to be a plug and play harness and your done.

i dont know the logic they used, but I need to know how to use the fox dizzy
properly. What is in the line of hardware that the fox uses to control the spark dwell properly?

Danny, someone asked this question before as he wanted to repin a fox TFI mod since his SN module went out. I think it was TMoss that showed a pin diagram that showed it was impossible to repin as they seem to be almost exact oppoistes with regards to what was input and out put. I'd be interested to know if you could get the fox engine wiring harness and cut and splice the wires into the stock SN harness.
Here's the advert for the aftermarket TFI module with more dwell:
5.0 Dyna-Mod
The 5.0 Dyna-Mod has more electronic dwell in it over a stock module to provide more coil saturation time. This extra dwell time allows the coil to produce a more intense spark. Improves throttle response and low end power. Mounts in the original factory location without any modifications.
Part #X000555 (94-95) $69.95
