Thought I'd pop in and say hi. I've had to switch my Stangnet bookmark from the 2.3 forum to this one, got rid off the old 2.3 N/A (Well not really, it's off to the junkyard in a few days...), and upgraded in power a bit i think :. I've had my 99 for a little while now. Awesome car, now I just need to get it out to the track.

Pictures should display below ... in case they don't Click Here...

I washed and waxed it on Saturday afternoon, but as I was leaving the detail place I work at, it started to rain pretty heavily, sooo, the car is filthy but i'll get some better shots when I completely detail it on Sunday. ( Claybar, and Zaino coming next weekend! )

... and mod list is in the sig.

-Cheers

Ok ... this ought to work.

Ahh ... and the two together, I've been waiting a week now for the scrap yard to come pick up the fox. Sold the wheels, and bumper cover, and a bunch of interior stuff. There's enough spare body parts in the hatch, to make half a car! lol.

Those rims are sexy!

171 RWHP and 199 RWTQ isn't to bad for a so called metal "cold air" intake and a cat-back exhaust. You should look into a short throw shifter and/or some pulleys. Seriously though it looks good, nice clean interior and those big-pimpin rims... Sorry, I had to. J/K Good work so far.

haha ..yah thanks guys ... forgot to add that it is lowered aswell. 2 inch drop ... wheels are 17 x 8's with 245/45s all around.

uhh ... colour is Atlantic Blue, it might have been a 35th Anniversary edition colour only ... but I'm not really sure. I just grabbed a Mach 1 chin spoiler this afternoon ... i've got to get off my ass and install it tomorrow.

Mod list is in my sig ...

Thanks again!

Atlantic blue.....had it on my 99 and have it on my 00, great color.

Just a couple honest opinions...Def get rid of the white stripe accross the doors, it kind of contradicts the black on the hood, honeycomb back, and lettering, (and chin spoiler). If you like it I would replace it with the same exact stripe in black. Some tint would look awesome as well.

As for those wheels....I dont know if you bought them or if the car came that way but those wheels i see on the most ghetto cars around here and I know for a fact you can buy them at NTB, firestone, Sears, and Pepboys. I wouldnt do a double take on a mustang with em on.

Sorry if i just sounded like a nagging ****** but I like when people give my car an honest opinion. Atlantic blue is def my favorite color....more so than sonic blue, true blue, or bright atlantic blue. Pimp ride, I like the mods.

Nice stang! I don't think I've ever seen your rims on a stang before. It's nice to see something other than cobra's or saleen's on stangs. Nice color, we dont' see alot of those in Chicago. Have fun with your stang!

Oh ya, I forgot to mention that I like the black between the headlights. Might do that to mine this summer. Is yours painted or is it a decal?

Lol ... I agree with what you said. The wheels are completely ghetto, and are cheap American Racing Wheels. They came on the car, and are going as soon as I can find a cheap set of stock GT wheels. Same goes with the white stripe. While I don't plan on taking it off, I'll be replacing it with the black version, along with replacing the fading hood, and trunk vinyl pieces. I've also got to add the chin spoiler.

I'm still getting use to the car .... speed bumps are a bitch!

Funny thing, I was actually going to get the clear ones without the orange reflector. I much prefer those on the 99+ stangs. Along with a good set of white light bulbs, either the new GE's or the Sylvania's.

I might have found a set of wheels locally .... I've just got to muster up the cash for them. They're bullitt wheels, black with the polished lip. I think they'll look awesome, and anything shiny and/or black goes well with Atlantic Blue.

Oh and here's a quick engine shot (although very dirty - I can't wait to detail it this weekend, as the weather is supposed to be nice every day).

Oh, forgot to mention it's got 67,000 kilometres on it, so its still relatively new!

Do I see C/C Plates?

You should look into some pulleys and some engine dress-up parts... just a thought, but it still looks good. 67k kilom... isn't that around 35k - 40k miles, or is it less than that?

Pulleys will come this summer, along with subframes and a strut tower brace, and better GT or aftermarket sway bars. However i'm concentrating now on getting rid of the ugly wheels, for either some 2001 - 2002 cobra polished 5 stars, or black bullitts with the polished lip, and cleaning all the grime out of the engine bay, and a few coats of zaino this weekend.
