You can put a lot of horsepower to the wheels, but the trick is, how much can you with traction?

Subscribing...

My guess would be in the 500-600rwhp range...

It can vary of course...

well, i'llbe using M/T street drags at the track and regular tires for street. just don't wanna break an axle on launch with the slicks is all.

If you're going to upgrade the differential unit, upgrade to 31 splines at the same time - why do the work twice. Might as well get the whole rear end up to the task.

I had the Auburn in mine with 31 spline Mosers. Might want to look into the Auburn Pro and an aluminum differential cover.

I'm gonna be running 550+ on 28 splines. But then just like another guy said earlier. It just depends on how much traction your getting. I'm not taking it to a strip and not trying to "hook up" just a fun burnout car ha. But if your serious about going to the strip with high hp #'s, then you should do the upgrade to 31's regardless!
