Is it possible for a 1999 v6 mustang to reach 350 hp, without a supercharger, turbocharger, nitrious? and what kinda parts would get you there?

I guess I would have to say a different engine with all the necessary parts to intergrate it into your v6 stang. I'm was thinking that engine that was in The Wraith, a Dodge M4S would work. But in real life it was only a Chrysler 2.2-liter four-cylinder one-of-a-kind engine that exceeded 194 mph. Good movie though.

You'd have to drop some serious bucks on cams, ported upper & lower intake, gears, exhaust, etc. It would have to be customized and tuned, which costs labor hours. In the end, it would probably be much easier and possibly cheaper to swap in a V8.

I was doing some searching on how to swap in a v8, but some people say different things. What do you guys think I would need to swap in a 4.6 from a 1999 or 2000 mustang?

I have done lots of checking on this, because that used to be my dream, to turn my V6 pony into a V8. Besides the engine, you would need a new transmission, exhaust, suspension, 8.8 rear end, motor mounts, wiring & electronics, headers, and brakes to keep up with the increased power. If you live in an emission controlled area and want it to pass inspection, you better check to be sure it's legal. In other words, just go buy a used GT. Remember, it's not just the parts you have to buy, it's the labor to have it put in, unless you are prepared to swap in an engine on your own.
As for me, I have given up on doing an engine swap.. I'll just keep my car looking and running nice until I am out of college, and when either the 2009 or 2012 Mustang GT comes stock with a 5.0 or 5.4 engine, I'll pick up one of them.

would 300 hp be more realistic, I really like my v6 and I really dont want a new car just yet. I'd be happy with 275 hp.

One of the stroker kits from supersix motorsports would probably get you up towards 275hp. Bump the compression and some 93 octane, you could maybe see 300 horses.

Of course, you'd need all of their other goodies. Like race-prepped heads, sheetmetal intake, ported lower, cam, etc.

If you're in an automatic, you'll probably need a stall converter since the rpms would be shifted slightly upwards. Without it, you're car will die everytime you stop.

The 7.5" rear end uses the exact same axles as the 8.8. The weak component is the differential. Get a good trak-loc and it'll hold.

I'm not sure, but I'm going to go ahead and say it's going to be difficult to get this to pass emissions if there's a sniffer.
