well i hear this squeaky/grinding sound when i'm driving and it's really annoying. i took it to my friends shop and he said it was the hub bearings that went bad on the fronts. has anyone had this problem on there cobra's? feedback welcome! thanks -Jeff
I had to replace one on my 98...at 106k...it's a maintenance thing. They just won't last forever...occasionally one will go dry, that's when it needs replacement.
BTW...it's truly easy and no big deal to replace them...buy from an auto parts store that sells good quality parts (cheaper than Ford!) and do it yourself.
