All hail the inventer of wireless internet in barracks! After much deliberation I now have a new laptop I'm using here in the barracks in beautiful Ft. Polk, LA. At least with everyone else having wireless capabilities, I have access to the web prior to the local high speed cable actually getting around to turning my rooms connection on. We can all thank my neighbor for letting me swindle away some band width for this broadcast. Anyway, hope everyone is doing well, I'll be by a lot more often now.

Hey Kiddo! Take a minute or two and shoot me the specs on the type modem you need and I'll do some hunting. Linksys and Zoom sell cable modems with built-in wireless capabilities. Some of my recent customers were stolen from Adelphia (apparently Adelphia is starting to suck down here), and I've seen those "subscriber owned" units stuck on a shelf, waiting to find a new owner. If the format and frequency range is the same; maybe I can get a deal!
