I know the mechanical roller lifters are far superior to hyd roller lifters. If you adjusted the hyd roller lifter preload down to the point where the plunger bottoms out and back it off .010-.012" for thermal expansion would there be problems from this. It would be similar to running a mech roller lifter. you wouldnt colapse the hyd's at high rpm. I wish I had a hyd roller lifter to inspect for issues doing this. What do you people think?
