I just got a performer intake for $100. The guy was selling it becuase one of the upper intake ears broke off. I know a guy that will fix it for like $10 or some beer.

It is where one of the upper bolts goes. it just snaped right off. it will be an easy fix and the guy didnt want to mess with it.

JFMI, how would you fix something like that? aluminum weld and tap a new hole?

It's on the upper part of the intake and there are no threads just the part that the bolt goes through snaped off. I have heard it's a pretty common thing for this to happen when you over tighten them. All i have to do is bolt every thing togetor including the broken and then we will weld it back on and it will be true and fit back to get or just fine.
