duals and a radio still go with originality. 65's had dual exhaust and a radio is kinda a must. mine has duals, though it still has its original am radio, course its all original save for the duals...

correct, the air cleaner and valve covers were gold, block and everything else was black.

Not only were they gold, but the air cleaner body is a different style than what you have. It has a top the size of the body, rather than just the size of the filter.
