Can't see the vid. It wants you to log into AOL or something. Put it up on streetfire.net or putfile.com

You had a good run with a good launch. Beemer looked like it launched in third gear and never shifted.

Yeah, I'm pretty proud. That was a 16 second Beemer!

After watching the video it looks like I need to do something to the rear to keep the body from rising so much on launch. Maybe clamp the springs front and rear so they act like a mono spring so the Slide-a-links work better.

Thanks!

The engine is a MUCH milder build than yours iskwezm. The parts list doesn't sound too impressive (minus the heads) but it runs pretty well.
It is built around a new (used) roller block with a Scat stroker crank (347ci)
Hyper flat top KB pistons
AFR 185 60cc heads give about 10.0:1 compression
Comp Cam XE274H flat tappet cam (was going to use it in a non-roller block but I ended up using it in this one)
Professional Products Air Gap Dual Plane Intake
Demon 650 Vacuum secondary carb
1 5/8" Hooker Comp headers
2 1/2" exhaust with flowmasters

I was actually surpised your car could manage a 12.0 until I saw this:

Those AFRs aren't in your sig. I figured you put 347 inches under stock heads or something.

You're right 65ShelbyClone. They are not in my sig. I have a few other message boards that I visit and they are in my sig there. I'll add them so people don't think I am running stock heads.

I am not nearly good enough at building engines and drag racing to be on the verge of running 11's with these components and stock heads. Heck, stock heads are a bottleneck for a 289!
