i broke my back window

i had put some things back in the well where the top goes down to make room for someone who had to sit in the back. later, i tried to put the top down and the window broke.

help!!! what to do? can i replace it myself? how much does the glass piece cost? is there a plastic one I can put in?

When i had my top replaced they recommended that i replaced the rear window at the same time because they would have to take the top back off to replace the window if it wore out in the future. So im not sure if they were just saying this, but they said the top has to come off to replace the back window.

gee that doesn't sound good.

50resto has plastic rear windows for $80. i was thinking i could get one of those and sew or staple or whatever it in myself. i don't need it to be perfect, so long as it keeps the rain out. i have the top down most of the time anyway.

i had to have my clutch replaced just today, so i am already almost $600 in the hole.

ugh.
