Pypes is louder than Mac from what I heard...
Heard from what? Video clips? Others' reviews? In person?
Violators are loud if you're standing behind the car, but beside, in front of, or inside the car, they're really not loud at all. Magnaflows and most other straight-through's are very similar in nature. Chambered muffs like MACs, Flowmasters, and so forth tend to resonate in a non-linear direction, sort of radiating out not just from the tailpipes but from the case of the muffler, itself, and thus they tend to drone a lot and give a lot of interior noise in general.

wythor"
are your frined pypes "louders" louder than your x pipe and loudmouth setup
I know it's not a Mustang, but it is a Magnaflow exhaust none the less. I'm running 3...yes three mufflers and two high flow cats through a set of Kooks mid-length headers and although idle and part throttle driving is still fairly tame, WOT is anything but quiet!
So what's the purpose of 3 mufflers? How is that setup?
Here is my 93 on the dyno. Shorty headers, catted Bassani X-pipe and SLP Loudmouth 1's, as well as a bunch of engine bolt-ons.
