last Fridays best on radials [email protected] and last nite i had the ET streets on ran a 13.6 then a 13.37 and then a [email protected].
20 lbs and a 50 dry shot in the I/C,the car has a C4 now with a pinto converter.
The IHI is long gone, the new T3 .60/.63 with a Buick GN cold side works great.
I had nitrous on the car last year with the T5 but the best i ever got was 14.29 on sticky tires.

Not at all :)

I started with a 75 pinto C4. from there my tranny builder who i work with.
He had change the 2nd gear Servo as it was too small, he found another that was an E type i think. V8 stuff mostly.
The high clutch drum or drive drum was 2 clutches that got swapperd for a C5 drum,then he said something about a C6 pump bushing and on and on.
As u can see he is really anal about trannies lol.The converter is stock but was split it open and they put a torentin(sp) bearing in it and tweaked the fins for a bit more stall.On the foot brake i get 5lbs boost at 2500 rpm any more the rear tires break loose,a good flash on the converter 3000 easy.

About 25 hard passes on it and 150 miles street blasting/racing no trouble so far.
I try not to keep it on the brake to long, i hear thats a killer on the tranny
 
thanks alot Im building a 5speed car now but when Im done I want to drop a 2.3t in my vert, but dont want to loose the lazy ease of the auto. But I still want to make it fast. How hard are these c4s to find? Did they just come in pintos?
