I finally painted my hood last night

Did you go with flat black? It's hard to tell from the light source in the pic.

If it is, are you going to add a splash to the spoiler too? That would complete the affect rather well.

That looks really good! Can't wait to get mine painted. I may try vinyl. I have my tint shop looking into the cost of 36 inch vinyl.

yeah, its flat black, no gloss for me. Im doin it just like how im doin my 70 fastback. I wouldnt try vinyl, thats kinda expensive, and itd be hard to get all the air bubbles out of it. I do paint work so i had theb lack and the clear hardeners, but the flat clear itself was only 40$ for a qrt. so prolly cost me 85$ to paint that hood. and the DCU2060 ( flat clear) lays out super super smooth. - Roger
