Sure your wouldn't rather get yourself a tuner to try that paint scheme on?
Really though each of us have their own opinion on what looks good on our cars. THe scheme you described doesn't do it for me, but then it might look really good when it's done. Do you have any pics of a car with this scheme so we could get a visual?
I have a 72 grande that I am still trying to decide on the paint scheme. I am thinking a variation of the blackedout hood and side stripe. Maybe a tribal side strip in the same shape as the factory stripe. THe vinyl top was taken off by a PO so I am not going to go back to that and someone along the line added the deck spoiler like on the sportsroof, I plan on keeping that.
