A guy who works at the local Dodge dealer here in town has an very nice RT. It looks a lot like this one, with a few minor differences.

His has white racing stripes on it, which I think looks realy cool.

The thing hauls! He has done some mods to the motor, mostly just stuff to open up the air flow. Cam, headers, exhaust, Intake, and a computer chip and ignition system. I mean to tell ya this thing gets up and goes in a hurry! Being a pickup, it doesn't take much to get the back wheels loose. He showed me some times slips. It runs low 13s in the quarter. After driving it, I'm pretty sure that the only reason in won't go faster than that in the quarter is the lack of rear end traction. If the same engine was in a car, I bet it would be a good bit quicker.

Anyway, the thing was a gas to drive. As soon as it hit 3500 RPM, it was time to hold on to your butt man!

The RT is no slouch, but the lightning is faster. Of corse, its more $$$, but you get what you pay for.
