I had Ford racing 3.73 gears put in my mustang

it is an 2006 gt auto. i picked it up last night and noticed a low tone moaning noise when i would let off the gas at 40-50 mph. as soon as i touch the gas, it goes away. I let it slow down on its own , and the slower it got the less i heard it. I also noticed when i put it into drive it was more aggressive to go. Is any of this normal?

That does not sound normal. Did you get ford racing 3.73? The part number would end in A. Hopefully other people will chime in but if I were to guess, I would say you need to add more friction modifier.

there should be no noise, the person that did the install did not do it correctly.

NOISE

did you recalibrate your trannie with a tuner? You didn"t discribe where noise was coming from, could be tranie downshifting with deceleration. The first thing I noticed with 4.10 gears after tuning was the difference in shift points and the auto downshifting it did.
