So after having several screw up, car went back to bodyshop yeasterday.
Got call today that its done, So i went to pick it up.
Its pouring out.

My car is not DD. I paid for the second car so that I would not have to drive in incriment weather of any sort. Since I got the car, I got stuck in the rain 3 times.

1st time was day I picked up the car at the dealer ship back in 06/23/03.
Second time was day i got my 1st aligment done on 04/16/04.
3rd time was day we had Vally Forge meet, which was arranged by ViperGTS281(Do anyone remenber that kid? did he ever got his balls back from his girl??) on 05/14/05. got cought on thunder storm on way back.

And i had to pick up the car in pouring rain today. Should have waited until next week, but did not want to not have the car for this long weekend...

Anyway, i went to pick it up, turned out that my side gill is not done yet.
My wheel still have over spray on it.

And now I found 2 scratch i didn't have befor. I think one of it can come out with wetsand and buff(on Roush rear facia), but other one(On trunk lid) is down to primer. Now I have to go back with the car and get this taking care of..

i just can't win with this. I drove my car in pouring rain for no reason as it needs to go back yet again.
I now thinking about drive up to the crackhead who backed in to my car(Since i have his adress), and beat the crop out of his truck for my headache....

NO!!! NOT THE RAIN!! I'M MELTING!! MELTING!! melting!! melting. The new scratches do suck. I had that happen the last time I had my Mach at the dealership. My engine bay and some chrome parts got scratched up. I guess it's so you can't say they did'nt actually DO anything to your car.

driving it in the rain is nothing. just about everytime i get in mine to go somewhere it freekin rains i hate it but i have more miles in the rain then on dry pavement i think.

i have been on the power tour twice both times it rained and around local shows it rains and im always in it for some reason. it will be sunny and then bam out of nowwhere rain and hail and sometimes strong winds. it sucks but its not the end of the world. i just repolish everything before the next show.

btw it is a matter of time before you get your car where you want it. just dont let up on them till its there.View attachment 443502

Your worried about the rain? Are you worried about wrecking in the rain, or the slight acid in the raid drops?

That SUCKS though man, I cant believe the luck your having . I would be to the point of asking for back payment for you gas...jeeze . Thats totally rediculous!

Sorry about that. And thanks:SNSign:

To those asking me why i'm freaking out about driving my car in rain...

That mainly comming from the fact i was at one point very dedicated old school ricer.

Never cared for Civic SI or Integra GS-R, or Sentra SE-R.

But i was very much in love with old school Japanese sports cars for the longest time. My ownership list include 84 Supra converted to 6M-GE(remenber those Shogun Supra? I miss that thing to this day), 89 RX-7 GT-U, , 87 MR-2 with 4A-GE, and 89 MR-2 with 4A-GZE.

Owning those cars were constant battle with rust. Supra, i replaced both rear 1/4, hatch, patched the bottom of door(and gave up when we discovered that cancer was eating away rear shock mount), 87 MR-2, driver side rear 1/4, and front trunk floor were replaced(gave up when we discovered rust was eating away driver side shock tower where motor mount was bolted to), and 89, i replaced hood, rear heat deffuser, and passenger side headlight cover. RX-7 wasn't too bad. I got rid of it, due to failed Apex seal
Plus i lived in upstate NY, and winter was harsh for those cars(and i didn't have garage).

Sooooo you see, why i'm slightly over petrified of rust? I know SN95 are pretty good when it comes to rust. But i still don't want to take chance...
