Well, decided today to take the car out. Just registered, exhaust leaks mostly fixed, fuel system issues fixed ect................No hood, but redneck style what the hell I figured  Take into the town over, stop at a gas station to fill up, go to leave and motor cranks over once and thats it :bang: Let it cool off, same thing, attempt to jump start it, same thing  Starter is junk  A used FMS hi-tourque that I got for free from a good friend. Started hot all along during the build and a ride that I took it on last night no problem. Decided to sh1t out today  Got it push started and got it home alright though. Tried a different battery same thing.
The one HUGE problem with changing starters is the fact that I have to remove one header tube wich is a HUGE pita :bang: :bang: Soooooooooo the car is going to sit in the garage until I feel like looking at it again. Sorry to carry on just very agrevated, one thing after another. FWIW it f-n screws.
mike.

Damn dude, just keep on keepin on, ya know? LOL

I had the same gremlins on my car when i first got it....started solinoid went out 2 times in one month, then the starter went, then the power steering pump and lines went, then the damn idler pully flew apart while driving down the road, the C4 never worked right....the list continues to this day.

It sucks because you put your hard earned money and sweat into it,you wanna be able to start it up and drive it like an everyday car.Its a real kick in the ass.Use your head, dont do things half @ss!! Focus on the problem, read into it and fix it.Keep doing that till all the bugs are out.Do it half @ss and you will get discouraged/pissed off, and wind up selling it.It sounds like you have a really nice ride on your hands.Do it rite the first time :nice:
