i mixed spark plugs is this going to be bad

i accidently grabbed to sets of different plugs i have ap 764 which is the recommended plug in cyl 1-4 and i have ap 605 in 5-8 is this a really bad thing help guys i really need to know?!?!?!?

you have a 01...why would you dick with the plugs anyway?

Sounds like a sure way of promoting spark plug blowout after improper install....

Well, making the assumption that the 605s have the same thread pattern as the 764s, but are either shorter or longer - you may or may not have done damage to your engine yet, but pull them out immediately and get the other set of 764s. If the threads were different and you forced them in, you'll have to look into retapping the threads in the head or replacing the whole head. How the hell did you manage to get a different package of plugs and not realize it until you had already put them in??

Pretty similar plugs, but you need to correct the problem.

Same reach - .708"
Same threads, 99% likely

Risk of serious engine damage/retapping is very low in my opinion.

However, you need to correct the situation ASAP.

yea its already done... it came out fine the car threw a code saying that cyl 2&6 were misfiring so i went to the dealer and he told me that they would change the plugs i just decided to tackle it myself
