Hey RAS you need to double check your VIN I tired to run the inital check on carfax and it says to check the number. The very initial check is free.

Not sure what was wrong with the first vin, the guy never got back to me so I'm guessing he either sold the car or doesn't want to give the real vin number. Anyways, I have another vin to check so if anyone has a carfax, please run it for me. Thanks!

I looked at a car once and it had clearly been in a Serious Accident and the Salesman kept waving a Clean Car Fax Report at me so I am not so sure I would trust it!

if a police report and it wasnt reported to the insurance company that would be why it wouldn't show up.

If a claim wasn't generated or some kind of paper trail on the vin it will not show on the car fax, just like an off lease or executive lease that a sales manager drove for example, the dealership will repair damages at thier costs unless it's totalled and not report it, therefore clean car fax .

Yea that one is the original one, but the guy never got back to me. He either sold it already or didnt want to give me the corrected vin....who knows. I am looking at the other two cars though. Theres a third but havent gotten the vin yet. Also looking at a 67 Coupe. Guy says the 67 runs but needs work, can only be driven 5-6 feet. Says tranny problem or clutch but I didnt get any more detail. It does have a fresh paint job, interior is very nice, and its a manual so me likes. So yea, we will see. Would like to run some carfax for the GTs that im interested in but it seems like no one has a carfax.

That explains why my 93 is so rust free! It was in New Mexico and Texas Untill it was titled here in Indiana in 2000. The title I had before I retitled it in my name said it was titled in greenfield Indiana in 2000
I dont know why it didnt show up on the car fax but At least I know where it came from.
