i think a couple more bends in the pipe would surprise you as to how much quieter it'd get. You'll still hear it loud and clear, tho.

I think Darkbuddha said it best. IMO, if you do the cam and header install first, no matter what kind of muffler you get, your ride will really sound awesome. Just having loud mufflers is like any other car/truck out there with big pipes or as we call it in Hawaii, a "puka muffler". I personally like the lumpy sound over just loud mufflers.
