• replace any worn or damaged wiring.
  
• solder all connections and cover with shrik wrap
• lay out the wiring route first before cutting
• USE THE APPROPRIATE SIZE WIRE for the load and length of wire
• Cover wiring with wire loom or sheath
• Use appropriate inline size fuse for load and length on e fans, alternators, etc.
• make sure all ground cables are shiny, tight, and clean
• do not use schosche or other jumper connections- they come apart
