^Word. And be willing to be in this for the long haul. Don't expect to have it perfect over the weekend.

these are fun cars, a little body work and paint goes a long way. if your not confident doing the work yourself, just save your pennies and eat at mcdonalds for a few months and pay someone to redo the trim and paint. then save again and get someone to redo your interior, or keep your eye out for a complete black interior for sale. ive found it best to attack certain areas in groups, ie, horde parts for the exterior, then do it all at once and be done with the exterior, then move onto interior, motor, brakes, exhaust, so on.

a little simple paint and body work went a long way with my car

Yeah I'm in it for the long haul. I'm actually starting on interior and will be doing that myself. It's all plastic so it's like putting together Legos right? Lol. Ill be doing as you say and getting exterior parts here and there after I do get he interior done. The exterior will be done by someone else. I think once I start seeing some improvement, I'll get into it more. Thanks for the posts!!
