Hey everyone I need help bad!!!

I took over my girlfriend car it's a "2002 Mustang Roush Stage 1 V6".

I live in Dallas, TX and just want to know if anyone can do a V8 swap or know a shop that I can call up to get a quote. I dont know anyone that knows anything about american cars. I know it's going to cost money but have some money to waste.

Please Please anyone that can help let me know

Andy

dallas mustang, never used them but they are near by you. v6? just understand going into this project youll also need a differant tranny, rear end, computer, gauge cluster, just to name a few things. There was someone on here who did it maybe they will chime in. maybe a supercharged v6 would be cheaper I'm not sure how much power you want. Do a google search for "project v6", some place had a v6 tt running high 11's with they said less than 5k in go fast parts.

Well, you would be better off just trading it in on a V8 car. If you want to make a fast V6, or swap a worthwhile V8 in there, you're also gonna need a transmission (because the stock V6 tranny won't hold) and you're gonna need a rear-end (the V6's have 7.5 inch rears, and GT's have 8.8's).

If its a REAL Roush, you should be able to get a decent bit, even being a V6. But if you drop a V8 in there, you're goin to ruin the fact that its a stock Roush.

In My Opinion, you'd be better off just gettin another car.

Roush makes a v6 mustang??? Never heard of it.

Since you dont know how to work on cars, I would trade it in on a v8 car.

Im sure its just a v6 with a body kit on it... Anyways, Its not that difficult to find a shop and tell them to install a supercharger kit. Make a thread on the 6cyl forum called Help me Supercharge my stang or something and anyone will be able to recommend the best routes. You will need to know your goals though, HP wise, or track times. Good luck, Bryan
