Hey Ears, thanks man. Why do you think it's leaking already? 2,500 miles? Do you think they got both sides out of place or what? Did you do anything special near the head and block coming together?

I dont know what happened in your case. The gasket might not be pushed into the slot correctly, or maybe they didnt tighten the bolts in sequence. If they tightened all the top bolts first then the bottom bolts, it could have messed up the gasket. Just like with all tightening, you want to try and even it out, like do the center ones, then a few on one side, then a few on the other side. I dont know if thats what happened...but its a possibility, ya just never know. I didnt do anything special when i put it all back together. Just made sure the gaskets were in place, I didnt use any extra stuff, like rtv or gasket maker or anything like that.

Ok then. Thanks again for the help. I'm going to visit one of the guys that did the swap tomorrow. We'll see what he has to say.

Leak fixed! One of the guys that did the swap pulled the front cover and put all new gaskets in and put a set of Steeda U/D pulleys on it for a nominal fee. He gave me a break since he worked on it the first time. Thanks for all the help and guidance.

Hell, as far as diagnosing it, you guys told me where to look. I think the crank pulley bolt is leaking now. He told me he put silicone on the key on the crank and the bolt. I can't win.
